United Way leader takes service pledge

Kimberly W. Riddle took the oath of community service through Putnam Rotary today. She is the first member to be inducted into the club this year by new president Cindy Farley.
Riddle is resource development coordinator for United Way of Central West Virginia.
Her office generates resources which support programs in Boone, Clay, Kanawha, Logan and Putnam counties.
A member of Omicron Delta Kappa honor society at Marshall University, Riddle is enrolled in studies in business management.
She has worked in several community outreach programs for people of all ages with disabilities. She is a public speaker who also has skills in computer applications and data management.
Kim saw Rotary as an opportunity for community service which would support her work with United Way.
Leisure activities for Kim include crochette, quilting, music and movies.
She and spouse John Rymer are at home with their daughters Sarah and Rachel, in Hurricane.
Kim was nominated for Rotary service by Ashley Alford.
