February 13, 2018
N3 (for Real. Revenue. Results.), a global technology-based sales and marketing firm, opened an office in South Charleston last August in the Regional Technology Park. Leslie Bates, Director of Talent Acquisition for N3, told Putnam Rotarians today she had already hired fifty new employees and expected to have 300 on board by the end of the year. “Most of the people I hire don’t have a technology background,” she said, “but they like it and want to learn it. “It’s an environment where we want people who are lifelong learners and like to be learning constantly.” “We cover 85 countries and 25 plus languages. In our Atlanta office alone we have dight languages. In Charleston, we just have English, but we often hire people who are bilingual or trilingual. “Everything we do,” she explained, “we do through technology. We’re not going door to door. We’re not meeting with customers.
“We’re using technology to help bring in business whether that be through the phone or through the internet. “People don’t want to get on airplanes anymore to close a business deal when they can just do it over the internet. “We consult to put in an HR system or a financial system. We work with some of our customers where they may be hosting a webinar or a trade show. We help manage those events for them.” Established in 2004, N3 now maintains offices in London, Dublin and Singapore.
“We just opened in Sydney, Australia,” said Bates.
