Today’s Guest speaker will be Angie Conn on the anti-trafficking movement!
Angie is a wife, mom of three, and survivor leader in the anti-trafficking movement. Her heart is to help empower others to live in their potential using the wisdom she has personally gained through her life experience of overcoming obstacles such as abuse, addiction, and human trafficking. She seeks to allow her transparency and authenticity to ignite compassion into action in those that listen and hear her message. She is a survivor mentor and team member for the nonprofit organization The Rebecca Bender Initiative, she sits on the National Survivor Network, and is a consultant for Homeland Security’s Blue Campaign which raises awareness and combats domestic human trafficking. When she isn’t speaking, she loves to spend time with her family and has found a new passion in backpacking and hiking. Her dream is to one hike the Appalachian Trail in its entirety from Georgia to Maine (2,200 miles).
