Kelli Dailey takes Rotary pledge

January 17, 2017

Kelli Steele Dailey took the community service pledge today and became a member with all the honors and obligations of Rotary.

An early duty will be a report to the club on the Convention & Visitors Bureau of which she became the Executive Director last month.

Dailey has already published a calendar of events and planned several activities to promote local businesses, celebrations and happenings in the county.

"Many people think of Putnam County as a link between Charleston and Huntington," said Dailey. "I want to make Putnam County a destination."

“There are a lot of really wonderful things to do here, and a lot of them are like hidden gems,” Dailey told Putnam Review.

The new Putnam promoter holds a Master of Arts degree in counseling from Marshall University and a Bachelor's Degree in journalism and advertising.

Her leisure activities include photography, cooking and letterpress printing.

She was sponsored for Rotary membership by Dave Allen.
