Don Broyles
Charter Rotarian receives Paul Harris honor

June 21, 2016

Rotarian Don Broyles was recognized today as a Paul Harris Fellow.

The award, named for the founder of Rotary, honors the people who contribute $1,000 to the club's International Foundation to fight poverty, illiteracy and malnutrition.

A charter member of the local club from 1995, today marked the fourth time Broyles has been honored for contribution to the Rotary International Foundation. He also made a Paul Harris gift for spouse Michelle Broyles in 2011.

He has twice served as president of the Putnam Club, and he was selected by District 7550, southern West Virginia, to lead a Group Study Exchange visit to Australia in 2006.

Broyles is a managing partner of Calvin Broyles Jewelers with stores in Teays Valley, South Charleston and Beckley.
