Jane Pack left Teays Valley in a move to Pennsylvania. but like many who move away she became homesick for the West Virginia hills.
Her old boss, Rotarian Harold Payne was glad to have her back with his insurance company, Payne & Garlow, and Jane was glad to be back where she could continue with her former duties and visit often with grandchildren in Kentucky.
Pack had been active in Rotary before her move up north. She took her turn ringing the bell for the Salvation Army, and she scheduled programs for the weekly meetings.
Pack was drawn to Rotary through its community service projects both locally and internationally.
And today, more than four years after she first joined Putnam Rotary, Jane took the "service" pledge and again joined the ranks of the local club.
She was sponsored for renewal of membership by Chet Marshall who was represented in her induction today by club president Bob Keely. The membership oath was administered by immediate past president Mike Herron.
