Jason Safford took the membership pledge for Rotary at the weekly luncheon meeting today. He is branch manager of the Huntington Bank in Teays Valley.

A native of Pt. Pleasant, Safford graduated from Marshall University where he was a linebacker in Herd football. He enjoys fishing and sports. "My son is into wrestling," he says, "and we spend a lot of time on the road attending his meets."

Jason and spouse Tara, a school teacher, are at home with their three children in Culloden.

Jason became interested in Rotary for its opportunities for fellowship and community service. He was sponsored for membership by Steve Patrick whom he met through the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce.
