Financial advisor named to Paul Harris honors

David L. Williams, Executive Vice-President of Lanham O'Dell, an investment advisory group, has been named a Paul Harris fellow by Putnam Rotary.

Anyone who contributes or in whose name is contributed a gift of $1,000 or more to the Annual Programs Fund of Rotary International may become a Paul Harris Fellow.

Lanham O'Dell and Company, founded in 1981, is the oldest and largest privately held Registered Investment Advisor in West Virginia. The firm currently serves clients in thirty-one states from its corporate headquarters in Hurricane.

A native of Elkins in Randolph County, Dave has served the Governor's Office on two occasions as well as having worked in gubernatorial and congressional campaigns.

Graduating from Lynchburg College, he has received his Certified Financial Planner designation from the College for Financial Planning. Dave has served as President of the Tri-County YMCA Board of Directors and as an officer on the Putnam County Rotary Club Board of Directors.

Williams was one of six people who attended the first meeting at Dwight's in Hurricane in 1995 which led to the chartering of Putnam Rotary.
