Olga Petrosyan

Olga Petrosyan is back in the Kanawha Valley visiting her parents and many friends. And she didn't forget "Papa Chet" Marshall who took her under his wing as she journied from Volgograd in Russia for school work at Indiana's Bethel College. Nor did she neglect her many friends at Putnam Rotary today.

Olga visited with club members at their weekly luncheon today at Scarlet Oaks, and performed a couple of songs accompanied by herself on guitar.

After completing a degree in vocal performance at Bethel, Olga entered the mission field with the Church of the Nazarene. She was named minister of music for a church in Denmark.

She met and married David Christoffersen in Copenhagen, and the young couple plan soon to open a "Christian coffeehouse" there.

"We are going to buy a building in April," she said.

Olga, sometimes accompanied by her parents, has performed for many church goups and civic clubs during her visits to West Virginia.
