The Interact Club at Hurricane High School today received lapel membership pins from Rotarians Mary Keely and Randy Lucas.

The visitors from Putnam Rotary discussed some of the local community service projects supported by Rotary and the international project supporting a high school in Uganda.

The students must complete a community service project as a graduation requirement in Putnam schools.

Interact students were also informed about the District Conference at Snowshoe Resort in May and invited to attend.

The Hurricane High club is planning their own project to assist victims of recent tornado damage in Enterprise, Alabama.

A special report will be made to Putnam Rotarians at a later date.

The Putnam Rotary meets at noon every Tuesday
at Sleepy Hollow Country Club.
